The Recent Past Preservation Network is looking to highlight the efforts of local preservationists throughout the country as they seek to preserve the recent past. By sharing our stories, successes, and struggles with one another as a community, not only do we spread the word about endangered resources, but we also all become better prepared to adapt those practices that have the greatest chance of success, while avoiding common pitfalls. We hope to make this an ever-expanding new section of our web site that can provide guidance to those seeking to preserve recent resources in in their communities. Since this section can only be successful with community participation, we hope that you will choose to share your stories and efforts with fellow preservationists and enthusiasts.
